I’ve had the pleasure of working with Patty Jones for the past few years on numerous projects both on high-end spec homes as well as high-end custom homes. Many of our customers are from out of the area and I think Patty does a great job communicating with the clients regarding designing selections and ideas. I’ve always found Patty to be prepared for meetings as well as having questions answered on a timely manner; she’s also very good at researching material through suppliers and the internet. Patty goes beyond what you would expect a designer to do; I often see her on job sites without a meeting lined up just to check on things. She’s got a creative eye and constantly keeps up with the ever-changing world of interior design.

I think the best way to describe Patty is that she is very professional at what she does; everything from her appearance to her billing – she is on top of things. That’s just a few reasons we work with Patty, I recommend her highly and if anyone would like to discuss my experiences with her I’d be more than happy to talk to you.

Good friends who built a home in Tetherow introduced us to their builder, Bob Schumacher, who then introduced us to Patty Jones. Having never built a house before, we were a bit concerned that we would be overwhelmed by the task: that feeling went quickly away when we started working with Patty.

Patty got involved in the very early design stage of our 4,000 square foot home in The Highlands at Broken Top. For us she was much more than an Interior Designer – she filled so many shoes that it is difficult to keep this letter of recommendation short. Throughout the building process she work closely with the builder and the many different subcontractors. She helped us in the selection of all materials, colors and fixtures – interior and exterior. She designed the tile layout for the extensive work done throughout the house and, to be certain they got it right, did colored illustrations for the tile installers. She also worked with a local artist to come up with some custom tiles. Patty designed the hood over the stove and commissioned a local iron worker to build it. Our large entry door is another of Patty’s creations and she worked with the craftsman who built it throughout the building process. When we could not find a specific item locally, Patty came up with options through her many resources.

During the entire ten-month building process we came twice to Bend for a few days. For these “action packed” days Patty organized numerous meetings with suppliers and sub-contractors so as to keep us on track. She introduced us to Bend Furniture & Design and worked closely with us in selecting all the furniture for the home. When we could not find the right coffee and side tables, Patty again went to the drawing board and designed two beautiful tables and then oversaw the production of them with the craftsmen.

We were warned that building a house can put a lot of stress on a relationship. We had so much fun building our dream home that we would not hesitate to build another one….provided it would be with the same team and Patty would again be our Interior Designer and Project Manager.

We had just a couple of days to meet our mover from Chicago and unpack before we had to leave our new Bend home in Vandervert Ranch. We did get most of our belongings out of the boxes only to leave everything covering all surfaces–floors, tabletops and counters, it was a huge mess. We had also acquired furnishings from the previous owner and Patty had the daunting task of marrying two distinctly different styles and adding pieces that would be complementary. Patty created beauty from this chaos.

We arrived four weeks later and the house had been transformed into our HOME. It was comforting to see our familiar furnishings in with the new. Patty had hung all our artwork, displayed treasured family photos, accessorized and arranged the furniture to great affect. What she accomplished, in such a short period of time, was nothing short of amazing!

Patty is professional, thoughtful, detail-oriented and honest. We were concerned with dealing long distance but Patty was quick to answer phone messages and emails. She kept us abreast of all developments and sent many photos. The design process and working with Patty was enjoyable, creative and fun!

When we bought our Sunriver home, we asked Patty to help us with the interior design. The walls were white, and the home had no real “spark” of color. This was a very pleasurable process. Patty really listened to our color preferences, and learned about our lifestyle. She presented some room designs that were “spot on.”

In addition, Patty didn’t insult us by suggesting over priced designer items, which is a common issue with other designers we interviewed. She found high quality products at reasonable prices.

Here is another quality that makes Patty Jones unique: Patty is a no-nonsense business person. She is both creative AND linear in her approach to clients. She is highly organized and web-savvy—so her responsiveness is incredible!

If you are looking for a highly creative design consultant who offers a ‘no nonsense’ approach and great client attention, then call Patty Jones.

We have been working with Patty Jones for about eight months and are about halfway through the process of building our new home. We have been very pleased with the input and guidance she has provided us.

From plumbing fixtures, tile choices, to stucco color, we are confident in running anything by her. She let’s us take the lead when we choose, but is ready to offer suggestions when we are struggling with choices or ideas.

I’m finding out the whole process can be overwhelming but with a builder like Scott Wilcox and an interior decorator like Patty, we are finding it to be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Patty Jones is Amazing! She used some of our exisitng items and brought in great new pieces and made the whole house work together for both our homes. She’s very responsive, personable and fun to work with. The houses came together very quickly from initial design to furniture delivery.

We can’t thank Patty enough for the design expertise and supervision she brought to our bathroom remodeling project.

From picking out beautiful design elements to working with our general contractor, Patty always kept us moving forward until the project was complete to our satisfaction. She is a “gem” in the interior design business!

In working with Patty Jones we have found an interior design professional that creates equity in our building projects far beyond her design fee. In this very competitive market we have found it is imperative to bring to market a better product than our competition. From initial design review work, to choosing both interior and exterior finishes Patty has made the design process painless while creating beautiful results. Patty has always understood budget constraints and time factors while creating homes that stand out far above the rest. This enables quicker sales for higher dollar amounts even in the toughest of economic times. We feel a large portion of our success is due to the services offered by Patty Jones.

Patty, I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for all the work you did on helping me plan and decorate my new home in Crosswater. From our first meeting of gathering information about the ideas I had then turning them into a beautiful finished product, you always kept me informed on each phase of the construction process and when it was time to pick out products to keep things moving along. For someone who not only lives out of town but works out of the country two weeks of each month it was nice to know my house was in good hands and that you could be counted on to take care of things when I wasn’t around. When I couldn’t find a product that I liked at a local retail store you knew exactly where to go and find it on the web. When I would fly up to check on things it was nice to know that you would have everything picked out ahead of time and I had the option of picking from several different choices whether it was granite, paint, hardwood, bathroom fixtures, furniture etc. With my busy schedule that was a big help. Now that the house is done we have had the opportunity to have several friends and family members come over to the house. Everyone absolutely loves it and have nothing but great things to say about the finished product. Thanks again for helping design and furnish my beautiful home.
